Julien Andlauer's year will definitely be busy. Recently in Qatar to compete in the opening round with Proton Competition in Hypercar (as well as the rest of the season), expected at the 12 Hours of Sebring this weekend in GTP still with the German team, theEndurance GT World Challenge Europe Cup with Rutronik Racing, the Lyonnais saw a new series added to his program.
His name appears among the drivers selected by Falken Motorsports for the 2024 NLS (Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie) season, therefore including the 24 Hours of Nürburging. The team supported by the Japanese manufacturer will enter two Porsche 911 GT3 R throughout the campaign.
In total, eight drivers were selected: Julien Andlauer, Klaus Bachler, Sven Müller, Alessio Picariello, Joel Eriksson, Tim Heinemann, Nico Menzel and Martin Ragginger. All of them have already represented Falken Motorsports at least once on the Nordschleife. All were already in the game in 2023 except the Habs who are returning after a “brief interruption”.
Julien Andlauer, Klaus Bachler, Sven Müller and Alessio Picariello will be associated on the No. 3, which will run with the 33 during the double clock tour of the Green Hell. Joel Eriksson, Tim Heinemann, Nico Menzel and Martin Ragginger will share the No. 4, which will have the 44 during the Eifel classic.
The drivers will have the opportunity to work together next weekend on the Nordschleife in the team's first test of the year. The first round of the season is scheduled for April 6-7. The 24 Hours of Nürburgring on June 1-2.
