59Racing with a Parente-Blomqvist-Barnicoat trio at Bathurst

Present on the first entry list of the Bathurst 12 Hours under the name AF Engineering, the McLaren 720S GT3 will finally be entered under the 59Racing banner, the Woking brand's favorite number, with which the McLaren F1 had pocketed the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1995.

59Racing, launched in 2019 and entered in Australian GT, will operate two cars in around ten days from the opening of theIntercontinental GT Challenge. The 720S GT3 registered in Pro will thus be entrusted to a first-rate crew with Alvaro Parente, Tom Blomqvist and Ben Barnicoat.

Parente notably took the Tekno Autosports McLaren 650S GT3 to victory in 2016 with Jonathon Webb and Shane van Gisbergen.

A second McLaren 720S GT3 will be entered in the Silver category, without the crew being known yet.
