ABT Sportsline returns to the 24 Hours of Nürburgring

To find traces of ABT Sportsline at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring you have to go back 6 years. In 2017, the German tuner lined up three Bentley Continental GT3s with a 15^e place in the general as best result. Since then, he has left the world of the Nordschleife and has distinguished himself in particular in DTM with Audi R8LMS GT3s.

But for 2023, ABT Sportsline has decided to review its sporting program by returning to the Green Hell to compete in the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring (May 18-21) for the 10^e times in its history. For this return to the double clock tower of the Nordshcleife, the German team will not enter a Bentley or Audi but a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, thus marking the start of a new collaboration.

Before the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in May, ABT Sportsline will participate in testing but also in two rounds of the NLS (Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie), a championship contested entirely on the Nordschleife. This return to the Green Hell could continue with a new participation in 2024.

Note that this partnership between ABT Sporsline and Lamborghini will extend to production cars with offers for the Urus.
