Aston Martin Racing in rehearsal for the qualifying race

Last March, Aston Martin Racing had confirmed its return to the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, after a one-year absence in the premier SP9 category.

The Gaydon brand is expected to carry out a dress rehearsal this weekend during the double-clock qualifying race on the Nordschleife, with a Vantage V12 GT3 entered on the entry list.

And like its presence in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, via R-Motorsport, Aston Martin will not do half measures, by entrusting its GT3 to the quartet Maxime Martin, Nicki Thiim, Marco Sorensen and Darren Turner, all official drivers and accustomed in particular to the GTE version of the Vantage, the new version of which will begin in WEC This year.

The British firm has yet to officially confirm the details of its entry for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Aston Martin Racing will notably face Audi Sport (Team Land, Team WRT), Mercedes-AMG (HTP Motorsport, Team Black Falcon), Porsche (Manthey Racing, Frikadelli Racing), or even BMW with the M6 ​​GT3s of ROWE Racing, a team crowned with its success in VLN2 last weekend.
