Audi in force at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring

GT3, GT4 and TCR, Audi Sport and its customer teams will be present on all fronts in a week in the Green Hell at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring.

Audi in force at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring

Winner for the last time at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in 2015 with Christopher Mies, Laurens Vanthoor, Nico Müller and Edward Sandström in the R8 fielded by Team WRT, Audi Sport left its throne in Germany to Mercedes last year, victorious with Team Black Falcon.

This year, the brand with the rings will be able to count on six R8 LMS, including four officially supported with the Audi Sport name for Team WRT and Team Land (two per team).

Marcel Fässler, Robin Frijns, Nico Müller and René Rast will drive in the No. 9 Audi Sport Team WRT car, while Müller and Rast will also be entered in the No. 10 Belgian car alongside Frank Stippler and Frédéric Vervisch.

At Team Land, Christopher Mies, Connor de Phillippi, Christopher Haase and Pierre Kaffer will drive the No. 28, with the No. 29 being entrusted to Markus Winkelhock, Kelvin van der Linde, as well as Mies and de Phillippi. Phoenix Racing and Car Collection Motorsport will also be reinforcing in the GT3 category.

The 24 Hours of Nürburgring will also be an opportunity to admire the debut of the R8 LMS GT4, two examples of which will be entered by Audi Sport Team Phoenix, for Christian Abt – ​​Rahel Frey – Patrick Huisman – Peter Terting on the No. 18, while the No. 17 will be driven by Joonas Lappalainen – Alexander Mies – Peter Terting – Alex Yoong.

The final link in the Audi Sport range, the RS3 TCR, will be on track with two cars for Team Bonk Motorsport and one under the LMS Engineering banner.
