Second last year with Mirko Bortolotti, Christopher Haase and Markus Winkelhock, Audi Sport customer racing hopes this time to win at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring (June 3 to 6). To achieve this, the German manufacturer arrives in the Nordschleife with a contingent of choice making it one of the main contenders for victory.
Already winners of the event, Christopher Haase, Nico Müller and Markus Winkelhock are joined this year by the Swiss Patric Niederhauser, 2nd in the Pro-Am category in 2020. The four men form the crew of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Team Car Collection.
Audi Sport Team Land, winner of the 2017 edition with notably Kelvin van der Linde and Christopher Mies, has renewed the South African and the German this year. René Rast and Frédéric Vervisch, both crowned with success at the double clock tower of the Green Hell, complete the line-up of the structure of Wolfgang and Christian Land.
Finally, Phoenix Racing completes the Audi Sport customer racing program at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The German team called on Mattia Drudi, Robin Frijns, Frank Stippler and Dries Vanthoor for the 49th edition of the competition.
