This is certainly the image of this edition of the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring. After a little over 3h30 of racing, the two Vanthoor brothers found themselves fighting for 4th place. The fratricidal duel ended with the abandonment of the eldest, Laurens. The latter lost control of the Porsche n°1 of Manthey Racing, this one crossing the track after a first encounter with a safety rail only to end up in the wall of tires opposite. The famous fluorescent green car, celebrated by so many fans all around the Nürburgring circuit, used in its version Gesamtstrecke (complete route, 25,947 km long), sadly concluded a weekend already off to a bad start with a penalty pushing the 911 GT3 R Grello back to last position in the SP 9 category on the grid. Kévin Estre, in charge of the start, worked hard to bring his team back to the top positions, carrying out a double relay, something rare during the day
