Lilou Wadoux continues her progress in motorsport. The 22-year-old Frenchwoman will emigrate to Japan to compete in the 2024 Super GT season. It will not be the queen category, the GT500, but the GT300 which will await the Amiens in the land of the rising sun.
The Ponos Racing team has indeed announced this Thursday, November 30 his presence within their GT300 team in Super GT. She will pilot a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the company of the Japanese Kei Cozzolino. For Lilou Wadoux, there will therefore be no program in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) unlike the last two years.
Lilou Wadoux, who briefly spent time in LM P2 with the Richard Mille Racing Team in 2022, returned to GTE Am in 2023 in the WEC. His burst of speed was noticed, with a victory at the 6 Hours of Spa in a Ferrari 488 GTE. She therefore maintains a link with the Italian manufacturer through this 2024 program. She will also compete in the 24 Hours of Daytona in an Oreca 07 LM P2 entered by A.F. Corse, enough to underline its links with the Prancing Horse.
