  • The first race on Sunday fell to Erebus Motorsport. Will Brown retained his pole position advantage against David Reynolds (Whole grained Racing). Very quickly, championship leader Brodie Kostecki followed in his teammate's footsteps and the two red and black Camaros occupied the first two places in the standings.
  •  Reynolds will subsequently be the victim of the enthusiasm of Anton de Pasquale (Dick Johnson Racing) who cannot avoid contact while trying to overtake him. For this rough contact, De Pasquale received 15 seconds of penalties which caused him to drop in the race ranking. The DJR driver finished 22nd in this round. Reynolds crossed the finish line 14th.
  • Will Brown retains the lead of the race after his pit stop, he confirms his team's mastery in understanding how the Gen3 Camaro works. The Erebus driver wins a race that he dominated from the green light to the checkered flag.
  • Shane van Gisbergen, who won the first race of the weekend, did not manage to climb higher than 5th position as he started from 8th place. The New Zealander is plagued by major understeer problems. He fumbles to find the right settings. The lack of knowledge of the Gen3 is such that the outgoing champion qualified in 21st position for the last race of the weekend.
  • Brown and Kostecki sign a new double for Erebus Motorsport, which really emerges as one of the real forces of the 2023 season. They are accompanied on the podium by veteran James Courtney for Tickford Racing.
  • While Van Gisbergen seems a little lost in his settings, his young teammate Broc Feeney takes the opportunity to stand out by taking pole position in the last race of the weekend. The driver of the No. 88 retains the advantage of his first place on the starting grid. He dominates a very offensive Kostecki.

  • Like Brown in the previous race, Feeney will run the perfect race by dominating the proceedings during the 42 laps of the track. The 19-year-old signs his second victory of the 2023 season and his third of his career. All the hopes placed in him by Triple Eight Race Engineering are starting to come to fruition.
  • Feeney wins ahead of the two Erebus drivers who continue to play tricks on Jamie Whincup's team. Shane van Gisbergen had to settle for 12th place after overtaking half of his competitors.
  • In the general classification, Kostecki retains the lead ahead of Chaz Mostert (Walkinshaw Andretti United) who had a lackluster weekend. He is ahead of Shane van Gisbergen by 36 points. Broc Feeney with this new victory occupies 5th place overall just behind Will Brown.
  • In the team rankings, it is logically Erebus Motorsport which dominates the debates 101 points ahead of the ogre Triple Eight Race Engineering who will have to work hard to make up for the operating deficit of the Camaro Gen3.
  • The next Australian SuperCars meeting is in just over 3 weeks on the superb Symmons Plains track in Tasmania from May 19 to 21.
