Blancpain GT – Rowe Racing leaves with two BMW M6 GT3s

Rowe Racing has revealed its program for the 2017 Blancpain GT Series season. The team managed by Hans-Peter Naundorf will once again enter two BMW M6 GT3s in Endurance and in the Sprint Cup and will have the main objective of defending his victory at the 24 Hours of Spa won last July with Alexander Sims, Philipp Eng and Maxime Martin.

The German team will confirm its crews during the Blancpain GT Series pre-season tests carried out on March 13 and 14 at Paul-Ricard (Var). She has already indicated that several competitors will come from Rowe Racing and official BMW Motorsport drivers.

“We can’t wait to compete in our 3rd season in the Blancpain GT Series, commented Hans-Peter Naundorf, Team Principal of Rowe Racing. This Championship is the benchmark for GT3 in Europe, it is very well organized and has cars from very successful manufacturers driven by the best drivers in the discipline. »

“It would be a dream to repeat our victory last year at the 24 Hours of Spa, he added. We are still finalizing our crews, but we are confident that we will have very experienced and very fast drivers, as was the case last year. »

Rowe Racing finished in 6th place in the Blancpain GT Series Team standings last year. The German structure also took 5th place in the Endurance Cup and 7th position in the Sprint Cup.
