Blancpain – IMSA Performance in Endurance Cup

AKKA-ASP, Saintéloc Racing and now IMSA Performance. The contingent of French teams is strengthened on the Blancpain GT Series scene with the confirmation of the Normandy team's commitment to the five rounds of theEndurance cup 2016.

Winner of the Drivers' titles over the last two years in the French Championship FFSAGT, l’équipe de Raymond Narac et Franck Rava restera fidèle à Porsche et alignera en catégorie Pro-Am une toute nouvelle 911 GT3 R, pour un trio composé de Raymond Narac, Thierry Cornac (seen alongside the boss-driver in VdeV) and the winner of the Porsche Carrera Cup France 2015 Maxime Jousse.

“IMSA Performance has a great track record and enormous experience, comments Jousse, aligned within Sébastien Loeb Racing last year. I think I have a lot to learn from him. It's also the best possible continuation for my career: after my Carrera Cup title, I'm joining one of Porsche's true specialist teams, a manufacturer for which I have a very special affection. We have not set any objectives or quantified results, but it is obvious that a few podiums at the end of the season would be welcome! »

After the end of the collaboration with Matmut, historic partner of IMSA Performance, a new sponsor will be revealed in the coming days, as will the livery of the 911. The official tests of the Blancpain GT Series began this morning on the Var track of the Paul Ricard.
