Blancpain Sprint – Rinaldi Racing confirms in Misano

After its victory in the qualifying race last night, the No. 458 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 333 Italia of Norbert Siedler and Marco Seefried did it again in the main race this Sunday.

Blancpain Sprint – Rinaldi Racing confirms in Misano

Winners last night in the qualifying race, Norbert Siedler and Marco Seefried did not miss their chance to win their first main event in Blancpain Sprint Series this year, on the Misano route in Italy.

However, it was the No. 3 Lamborghini Huracán GT63 of the Grasser Racing Team of Patrick Kujala which had the best start this Sunday, for a brief period however, with Seefried quickly regaining his lead. From then on the Ferrari 458 Italia n°333 green will no longer be worried throughout the hour of racing, which ended as the rain began to intensify on the transalpine route.

Behind the winners, Vincent Abril and Maximilian Buhk climbed into second position with their No. 3 Bentley Continental GT84 in second position and achieved an excellent accounting performance in the championship. The Team HTP duo indeed benefits from the pair's package Vanthoor-Frijns (Team WRT) after the Belgian's accident (injured ankle) yesterday in the qualifying race, to return to eight points before the final in Zandvoort in the Netherlands in a week.

Today's podium is completed by Patrick Kujala and Mirko Bortolotti in the No. 63 Lamborghini Huracán, which had nevertheless lost a place during its pit stop. The fight for fourth place between the #4 BMW Z77 of Attila Abreu and the #3 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT173 of Craig Dolby will have enlivened the end of the race, to the advantage of the Brazilian BMW. In Pro-Am, the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 n°71 of the GT Russian Team, entrusted to Marco Asmer and Alexey Vasilyev won.
