Boccolacci and Latorre selected by the Lamborghini Squadra Corse 2020 programs

The manufacturer Lamborghini is nurturing its young drivers in Grand Touring. Through its Squadra Corse department, the trans firmalpine entered no less than 34 talents in two different programs in 2020: Young Driver, dedicated to competitors under the age of 26 entered in Super Trofeo and GT3 Junior, the upper level.

Among the list we note the presence of two French people. Dorian Boccolacci was chosen for the Young Driver program and Florian Latorre for the GT3 Junior part. The first named indeed plays with the Oregon team in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe while his compatriot races in GT World Challenge Europe with FFF Racing.

The programs are supervised by former factory driver Raffaele Giammaria and include courses in driving, media management as well as physical preparation. The five-time winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans, Emmanuele Piero, will be one of the coaches.

The two young men as well as the 32 other athletes will be invited to a three-day selection event at the end of the season in Italy. The most impressive driver from each program will receive official support from Lamborghini Squadra Corse for 2021.
