Bowman takes his first victory in the Nascar Cup Series
The test of Nascar contested at Chicagoland Raceway (Illinois) on Sunday June 30 will remain engraved in the memory of Alex Bowman. The 26-year-old driver scored his first victory in the American championship after leading 88 laps. By chance in motorsport, the winner has the number 88 on the doors of his Chevrolet!

“It’s everything I was looking for in my life, said Alex Bowman after a series of donuts. I was tired of finishing second all the time, I wanted it to stop. » He indeed collected three second places in a row during the first 16 rounds in 2019.
Kyle Larson (Chevrolet) finished in second place, ahead of the defending champion, Joey Logano (Ford). The disappointment of the event is to be found on the side of Kevin Harvick (Ford). The 43-year-old Californian, leader of the race for 132 laps, only reached the finish line in 14th place after contact with the wall.
