The Swede was promoted to first place on the 14th lap of the Moulay-El-Hassan circuit when his teammate Yvan Muller (Lynk &Co) had to retire due to a mechanical problem. The Frenchman missed out on the points for a victory that seemed promised to him.
The French were not successful in Race 3. During the first lap, Yann Ehrlacher (Lynk & Co) hit the wall of tires after a three-abreast battle with Esteban Guerrieri ( Honda) and Tiago Monteiro (Honda):
At the end of the effort, the brakes of Jean-Karl Vernay's Audi RS3 LMS failed. The 2017 TCR International Series champion hit the wall from behind but escaped unscathed. There too, big points are flying away, those from sixth place.
The podium is finally completed by Frédéric Vervisch (Audi) and the debutant Mikel Azcona (Cupra).
