It's the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. After four seasons, Emil Frey Racing has decided to end its adventure with Lamborghini and the Huracán GT3 EVO. An adventure that began in 2019 with the overall victory in the International GT Open and went all the way to the coronation in ADAC GT Masters last year.
« Thanks to very good cooperation with Lamborghini Squadra Corse, we have been able to achieve very good results in recent years, remembers team principal Lorenz Frey-Hilti. We sincerely thank you for the trust and good cooperation."
From 2023, the Swiss structure will still rely on an Italian but will move from Sant'Agata Bolognese to Maranello, barely thirty kilometers further south, to trust the new Ferrari 296 GT3 from now on.
« From October 2022, we, the Emil Frey Group, have been authorized to represent the Ferrari brand in Munich, continues Lorenz Frey-Hilti. We are happy to be able to collaborate with Ferrari in the field of motor racing as well. We have little time left before the start of the season. However, with the all-new Ferrari 296 GT3 and our long experience in GT3, we are sure to be well prepared. » Emil Frey Racing will later reveal its plans for the 2023 season.
