The most successful brand since the incorporation of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) into the Blancpain GT Series calendar in 2011, Audi will defend its title with nine R8 LMS.
“We have a varied panel of drivers who know the preparations for competition at Spa, explains Chris Reinke, head of customer racing for Audi Sport. A year ago, after a 3 kilometer race, we won by just 800 seconds (with the Saintéloc team and the Gounon-Winkelhock-Haase trio). The slightest mistake in the pits or on the track can cost you victory. »
