Options for Brad Keselowski

Many of them want to attract the next Jimmie Johnson and sell their sponsor on the success of Lowe who got involved in an unknown person's program in 2002 and who, in a short time, won three Sprint Cup titles.

And if so many of them want to take this risk, it is because this risk is small. Unlike Jimmie Johnson who arrived without much baggage, Brad Keselowski, 25, has an already well-built career with three great seasons in the Nationwide Series and brilliant debuts in the Sprint Cup in 2007. This experience will prevent him from playing for the rookie title. in 2010 but will give him a role for the Chase. And his impressive victory at Talladega, in his third race of the season, after a duel with Carl Edwards only adds to his credit.

“I don’t want to limit myself to this or that team at the moment, that wouldn’t be respectful,” he said after his time in Chicagoland. And this is undoubtedly true as there are so many proposals. He could stay in the Hendrick nebula with Stewart-Hass Racing or JR Motorsport. But Roger Penske's rebuffed advances last year could be even more interesting for 2010.

Joe Gibbs Racing has also expressed its interest but the absence of a veteran could be a handicap for this team. Stay Red Bull who could make a great offer to Keselowski to replace Scott Speed.

To be continued…
