After two and a half years without a victory (the last one dating back to the 500 Daytona 2018), Austin Dillon returned to success last night in Texas behind the wheel of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet.
If Ryan Blaney (Team Penske – Ford) seemed the most energetic at the start of the race after having won the first two segments, the last part of the race saw the strong man of the night lose the controls after having stopped under green flag around the 290th lap, just before a neutralization 31 laps from the finish following the accident of Quinn Houff (StarCom – Chevrolet) while trying to enter the pit lane.
Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing), despite passing through the grass at the finish line in the race, took 4th place ahead of Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing – Ford).
