Double for Frikadelli Racing at the Nürburgring

Looking for its first victory in 1028 days in the Nürburgring endurance series, Frikadelli Racing has mastered its subject very well for this second round of the season.

If Patrick Pilet and Maxime Martin on the Porsche 911 GT3 RN No. 31 took a good 2nd position at the end of the 4 hours of racing, it was Mathieu Jaminet and Earl Bamber on the No. 30 who won the Nordschleife.

« It was a perfect weekend for us, which we were able to finish in the best possible way with the first two places overall, savors the boss of Frikadelli Racing, Klaus Abbelen. I am incredibly proud of the whole team and their performance ».

And it must be said that their performance lived up to the expectations. Second on the grid, the No. 30, in the hands of Earl Bamber, made an excellent start by seizing the reins at the start of the second lap.

Behind, Patrick Pilet quickly managed to move up from 6th to 2nd place behind Porsche 911 GT3 RN°30. The two Frikadelli Racing cars then managed well at the end of the race to achieve a double and a first victory in the series since 2018.

Porsche, for its part, finished with a hat-trick as Klaus Bachler and Martin Ragginger, in the Falken Motorsports 911 GT3 RN°4, reached the last step of the podium. The two still finished more than 30 seconds behind the Jaminet-Bamber duo.
