Jim Glickenhaus persists and signs. Its next creation, the SCG 004C, continues its development within the Team Cameron Glickenhaus. The car must soon perform its shakedown, scheduled for February 17, before undergoing a 30-hour endurance test from March 1 to 3.
The objective of participating in the 24 2020 Hours of Nürburgring (Germany, May 21-24) remains in place, as do the first Nürburgring events Endurance Series (ex-VLN) and the 6 Hour qualifying race at the start of spring in the Green Hell.
However, the ambitions of the rich American seem to go beyond the Nordschleife. In a message on social networks, the whimsical man in the hat plans to adapt the SCG 004C to the GT3 regulations “if we exceed 200 examples of the road version, which should soon be the case.
Additionally, other features could prove advantageous over more traditional GT3 models. “We think that the 004C will be less expensive to run and that spare parts will be more affordable than the other GT3s,” says the preparer.

Jim Glickenhaus even goes so far as to dream of a conversion to GTE or GTD regulations for Endurance (WEC ou IMSA). Meanwhile, the 007 hypercar is “totally on track” for 24 Hours of Le Mans and the WEC. It promises !
