The Ferrari byIron lynx, impressive on Thursday in the qualifying sessions, were not as incisive in the Super Pole exercise this Friday at the start of the evening.

This time, it was Andrea Caldarelli (Lamborghini Huracan) who set the best time by completing the 7 km of the Ardennes track in 2:16.221. This Saturday, he will share the first row with the Mercedes of AMG Team Akkodis (the team led by Jérôme Polycant) thanks to the performance of Raffaele Marciello, whose time was however eliminated for non-compliance with the track limits. A mishap which also happened to Ricardo Feller (Audi) and Nicky Catsburg (BMW M4).

On the Belgian side, Dries Vanthoor set the 15th time in the Audi R 8 LMS of the WRT team while Maxime Martin (Aston Martin) placed in 17th position. In this delicate exercise, only the Mercedes 777, driven by Fabian Schiler, took an excursion into a gravel trap.
