24 Hours of Spa: Still ten cars on the same lap with less than 3 hours to go

For now, it's the Mercedes 55 from Bukh, Engel and Grenier which occupies 1st place but depending on the refreshments and, perhaps, the Full Course Yellow which flourished a lot in this edition, the Ferrari 51 (Molina, Calado, Nielsen), the Mercedes 2 (Stolz, Schothorst, Götz), the McLaren 38 (Kirschöfer, Wolkinson, Bell) but also the Mercedes 88 of Ankkodis ASP (Gounon, Marciello, Juncadella) can claim victory in this 74th edition of the 24 Hours of Spa. Suffice to say that in the clan of the team led by Jérome Policand, we are crossing our fingers to try to win this victory which has eluded them for a long time. Also at this point, ten cars are still on the same lap.

Among the very good performances, let us highlight the 17th place in the general classification and the 1st in Gold Cup for the Ferrari Iron Dames. So far, the four young ladies have performed flawlessly. Hats off in particular to Dorian Pin who, at the age of eighteen, discovered this endurance race and in particular night driving and showed great maturity at the wheel of his machine.

Finally, the Audi 46 of Red, Müller and Vervisch are currently in 18th position. For a long time, it was the best representative of the brand with the rings with the prospect of a podium before a collision with the sister car driven by Charles Weerts relegated the latter to retirement and forced the 46 to a long stop at the stand.
