AKKA-ASP and HRT with the support of Mercedes-AMG in Spa

It's anything but a surprise. The two bridgeheads of the commitment of Mercedes-AMG in GT World Challenge Europe, namely the French structure AKKA-ASP and the Haupt Racing Team, an offshoot of Team Black Falcon, will receive official support from the star firm during the 24 Hours of Spa (October 23-25).

HRT will be able to count on its usual trio composed of Maro Engel, Luca Stolz and Vincent Abril, when the formation of Jérôme Policand will line up the crew Raffaele Marciello – Timur Boguslavskiy – Felipe Fraga.

AKKA-ASP will also operate two other cars, one in Pro-Am for Fabien Barthez, Jean-Luc Beaubelique, Thomas Drouet and Jim Pla, the other in Silver Cup for Alex Fontana – Benjamin Hites – Lucas Légeret.

At HRT, a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo will also be entered in the Silver Cup for Sergey Afanasiev – Michele Beretta – Hubert Haupt – Gabriele Piana.

In addition to these two structures, SPS Automotive Performance, Ram Racing, HTP-Winward, Madpanda Motorsport and JP Motorsport will operate Mercedes-AMG GT3s in the Ardennes, for a total of 10 examples in action.
