Akkodis ASP takes over the 74th 24 Hours of Spa

This 74th edition of the 24 Hours of Spa was a sporting and popular success even if the event was punctuated by numerous incidents, in particular because of the presence of gravel on the track. Thus, 15 FCYs and 12 Safety Cars plus an interruption of the event under red flag for almost an hour often reignited the debates.

What does it matter! This time, Jérôme Policand's team managed to win one of the rare jewels that it had been missing until now: victory at the 24 Hours of Spa thanks to Jules Gounon, Raffaele Marciello and Daniel Juncadella. A triumph Mercedes and also a double thanks to the 2nd place of Team Getspeed with Luca Stolz, Steijn and Maximilian Götz.

About the Ferrari No. 71 of Antonio Fuoco, Daniel Serra and Davide Ricon, 3rd in the event, his crew will be able to meditate for a long time on the Drive Through which cost one minute this Sunday morning after exceeding the authorized speed under Full Course Yellow.

Congratulations also to the 100% female crew of the Iron Dames with Sarah Bovy, Rahel Frey, Michelle Gatting but also to Dorian Pin who discovered the 24 Hours of Spa and did not let himself be overwhelmed by the events. The young ladies won the Gold Cup and finished in 18th place just behind the No. 46 Audi of Valentino Rossi, Fred Vervisch and Nico Müller who were sailing towards 5th place on Saturday evening before suffering a collision with Charles Weerts, on the sister car of Team WRT this Sunday morning.
