The Stolz/Engel duo shone again, scoring a double on Spanish soil. Maro Engel (Mercedes-AMG GT3 #6 Team Toksport WRT), the clear winner in the first round, immediately took the lead ahead of Jules Gounon (Mercedes-AMG GT3 #89 AKKA-ASP). From the second lap, a collision involving four vehicles in the peloton caused the Safety Car to come out. Among the unfortunates, Dries Vanthoor (Audi R8 LMS GT3 #32 Team WRT), once again unhappy on the Ricardo Tormo circuit. For the first time this season, the champions did not score any points during the same weekend. As a reminder, the 100th Sprint race could not change the outcome of the Pro championship (the Vanthoor/Weerts duo had already won the title). This poor result therefore has no impact.
