La Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo No. 71 from the Iron Lynx team took pole position for the 3 Hours of Barcelona, final round of the GT World Challenge Europe and final of theEndurance Cup
This result allows Antonio Fuoco, one of the members of the Iron Lynx trio on pole, to come back to 10 points behind the category leaders, namely Raffaele Marciello, Daniel Juncadella, and Jules Gounon.
Fuoco in fact signed the fastest lap in the No. 71, which he shares with his compatriots Alessandro Pier Guidi and Alessio Rovera.
La Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo from the Akkodis ASP N°88 team, driven by Marciello, Juncadella, and Gounon, had to settle for 8th place on the grid.
On the front line, the Ferrari Iron Lynx will be accompanied by the Porsche 911 GT3 RN°54 entrusted to Klaus Bachler, Alessio Picariello, and Matteo Cairoli.
The Silver Cup category pole goes to the McLaren 720S GT3 No. 159 driven by Dean MacDonald, Manuel Maldonado, and Nicolai Kjaergaard, which is in 4th position on the grid.
Finally, Ayhancan Guven and Alex Malykin took pole in the Pro-Am class with the No. 91 Porsche from the Allied-Racing team, setting the 40th of the 48 times in the morning session.
