Haupt Racing untouchable at Magny-Cours

We hardly saw them during the race. Maro Engel and Luca Stolz got so far ahead, up to 15 seconds, that the director and the audience lost interest. There Mercedes du Haupt Racing wins after a race that couldn't be quieter.

Even before the start, Haupt Racing was overshadowed by the misfortune of Saintéloc Racing. Steven Palette, leader of the Silver category, had to return to the pits for a puncture.

Then, the Adelaide pin played its role of trap to perfection in the first round.

The Emil Frey Racing Lamborghini of Giacomo Altoé and the Mercedes of Toksport WRT made mistakes and retired. In Silver, the Lexus of Tech 1 Racing, which the black cat does not leave, lost many places.

This benefited Charles Weerts and Dries Vanthoor who moved from 6th to 3rd place with the Team WRT Audi. They were ahead of the Audi Attempto Racing of Tommaso Mosca and Mattia Drudi.

A few laps later, it was Silver Ezequiel's turn Perez Companc, then third in the race, went out into the gravel trap with the Madpanda Motorsport Mercedes. In the end, the first three Silvers on the grid fell back, in favor of the #89 Mercedes AKKA-Asp of Jim Pla and Benjamin Hites

After the stops, the Emil Frey Racing Lamborghini driven by Mikael Grenier and Norbet Siedler, until then an easy second, found itself just in front of WRT and created a train of five Audis behind it.

They livened up the end of the race. Kelvin Van der Linde in the second WRT car first overtook Mattia Drudi for sixth place. Then in the last two laps, Frederic Vervisch in the No. 66 Attempto Racing car took on Christopher Haase, the Saintéloc driver.

And the Silvers? After numerous position changes, it was the #2 Toksport WRT Mercedes that won thanks to Oscar Tunjo and Puhakka Juuso

In Pro-AM, Giancarlo Fisichella and Jonathan Hui won the Ferrari from Tempesta Racing.
