#32 Team WRT Audi leads free practice at Spa

Les pilotes ont foulé pour la première fois du week-end le toboggan des Ardennes. En haut de la feuille des temps, on retrouve l’Audi #32 du Team WRT, composé de Dries Vanthoor, Kelvin van der Linde et Charles Weerts. Avec un chrono de 2:19.037, soit 3 dixièmes de plus que la Porsche #22 du Team Martini de Matt Campbell, Earl Bamber et Mathieu Jaminet. En troisième place, la Mercedes #88 from Team Akka ASP signed a 2:19.402. The top 3 is thus held in less than 4 tenths, enough to hope for a big battle for pole position.
In the Silver category, the #7 Mercedes from the Toksport WRT team was the fastest, clocking a 2:19.808. The crew is only 11 thousandths ahead of the other Mercedes from the Winward Racing team.
In Pro-AM, it was the #69 Ram Racing Mercedes AMG, made up of Ricky Collard, Robert Collard, Sam De Haan and Fabian Schiller, which set the best time in its category in 2.19:864. The Boutsen Ginion team and the Barwell Motorsport team complete the top 3 with more than 5 tenths behind.
While in the AM category, there are only two crews, it was the Huber Motorsport team (Porsche #23) which beat the Hägeli by T2 Racing team (Porsche #166).

The rest of the program at Spa Francorchamps is at 15:45 p.m. (French time) with pre-qualification.
