The frustration quickly vanished. Saturday evening, Steven Palette and Simon Gachet started from pole in the Silver category on the grid, but had to stop even before the start due to a puncture. Ten hours later, the next morning, they were back at the front posts. The Saintéloc Racing Audi took pole, overall this time, during a session that could not have been tighter.
The first six are held in 161 thousandths. Behind Simon Gachet, the Mercedes AKKA-ASP by Raffaele Marciello and Christopher Haase fails at fifteen thousandths. She is six thousandths ahead of the winners of the day before, Luca Stolz and Maro Engel, in the Haupt Racing Mercedes. The Saintéloc Racing pro category car driven by Christopher Haase and Arthur Rougier placed fourth, ahead of the Emil Frey Racing Lamborghini of Albert Costa and Giacomo Altoé.
Giancarlo Fisichella, winner in Pro-AM on Saturday with Jonathan Hui, places Ferrari of Tempesta Racing in sixth position and on pole in its category. The two Audis from Team WRT and Attempto Racing will start a little further away but we saw on Saturday that they knew how to come back.
The start of the race will be followed at 13:45 p.m.
