Zandvoort – Race 2: Boguslavskiy and Marciello finish in style

There will be no double for the No. 8 Audi R3 LMS GT32 EVO of Team WRT. Despite their rise in the rankings, Charles Weerts and Dries Vanthoor were unable to do anything against the Mercedes-AMG N°88 (AKKODIS-ASP) of Timur Boguslavskiy and Raffaele Marciello, ultra dominant during this Race 2 at Zandvoort.

Starting from pole position, its 3^e in as many qualifying sessions contested this year, Raffaele Marciello did most of the work at Zandvoort. Always as fast at the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG, the Italian, who races with a Swiss license, was very comfortable on the Dutch track. Without too much difficulty, “Lello”, as he is nicknamed, showed a very strong pace, quickly repelling Vincent Abril (McLaren 720S GT3 No. 112 – JP Motorsport) by several seconds.
