Honda confirms its presence in 2017

Despite Citroën's departure from the WTCC, other manufacturers want to maintain their program in the discipline. This is the case of Honda which confirmed its presence in the World Touring Car Championship in 2017 and which will have a good opportunity to play for the Drivers' and Manufacturers' titles following the withdrawal of the Chevrons brand.

Honda will compete in its fifth consecutive season in the WTCC next year. The Japanese brand, which has not yet announced its crews for next year, occupies second place in the Manufacturers' Championship with 148 points ahead of Lada.
