The GT4 should therefore be at the heart of the strategy ofAston Martin Racing for the next 24 Hours of Nürburgring (June 22-23). After fielding an old V12 Vantage GT3 last year (4th), the British brand seems to be putting resources into entering its new Vantage GT4 in the double round of the clock in the Green Hell.
In SP8T, Gaydon will trust his official driver Darren Turner, supported by Chris Harris, presenter of Top Gear and resident of Garage 59 in Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup (with the new Vantage GT3) and Christian Gebhardt.
A second car will be lined up in SP10 for Briton Jamie Chadwick, new resident of the brand's Junior program, Ross Gunn, Alex Brundle and Peter Cate.
Winner of the British GT (in the GT4 category) with the former Vantage in 2015, Jamie Chadwick will be one of the young women at the start of the W Series, contested alongside the championship DTM. To prepare for the big meeting in June, Chadwick, associated with Gunn, will compete in VLN3 and the qualifying race for the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring.
