Jean Karl Vernay first qualified in the semi-finals.

Jean Karl Vernay won his quarter-final with authority, he crossed the finish line more than two seconds ahead of the two EKS-Cupra drivers Tom Blomqvist and Adrien Tambay. The round was decided from the start and the raising of the barrier. Quicker to take off, Vernay found himself well in the lead at the station bend. Blomqvist is followed very closely by his teammate Tambay. During the three rounds of the quarter-final, Jean Karl Vernay spared no effort. He logically won and reached semi-final 1 alongside Blomqvist. Adrien Tambay, third, will start on pole for semi-final 2.

Dans le second quart de finale, Maxime Martin s’élançait depuis la position de pointe devant Norbert Michelisz et Luca Filippi. Au départ, le belge a fait preuve d’autorité pour tenir en respect Michelisz. Les deux hommes ont roulé pendant quelques mètres portières contre portières, mais le vainqueur des 24 Heures Spa 2020 pointe en tête dans la montée du pont Oscar. Michelisz reste dans le sillage de la voiture italienne prête à bondir à la moindre oppsprtotiné. Maxime Martin ne laissera jamais la porte entrouverte au pilote Hyundai. Grâce à cette victoire, Martin bascule dans la demi-finale 1. Le Belge peut se montrer satisfait de cette première victoire: « J’ai bien fait attention d’utiliser mon boost au départ pour être sûr de rester en tête. Je suis ravi pour Romeo Ferraris, je passe en demi-finale 1 avec les gros points à la clé».
