Jules Gounon with Phoenix Racing

Winner at the 24 Hours of Spa in 2017 in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 – Saintéloc Racing, Jules Gounon has since made his way by becoming an official Bentley Motorsport driver. With success, as evidenced by its recent victory at the Bathurst 12 Hours, the first round of the 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge.

The Frenchman will however find a Audi R8 LMS GT3 in its Evo version this season, by committing to the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with the winning team in 2019, Phoenix Racing. Ernst Moser's structure, which saw Pierre Kaffer, Dries Vanthoor, Frank Stippler and Frédéric Vervisch win last year, will operate two cars in the Green Hell.

Jules Gounon will join Michele Beretta, Kim-Luis Schramm and Tom Blomqvist on the No. 14, when the second car, flanked by the No. 5, will be driven by Vincent Kolb, Richard Westbrook, Jamie Green and Frank Stippler.

Two very good crews for Phoenix Racing which will also enter a car for the entire Nürburgring season Endurance Series for the trio Vincent Kolb, Kim-Luis Schramm – Michele Beretta.
