KCMG will represent Nissan at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring

The structure KC Motorgroup (KCMG) continues to strengthen its partnership with Nissan Nismo. The team from Hong Kong will enter two Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3s for the first time in its history at the 24 2019 Hours of Nürburgring (June 22-23), a few weeks after announcing his plans for the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC).

In order to best prepare for the German event, KCMG will be present at the official VLN tests on the Nordschleife track on March 16 as well as at the first three races of the VLN championship (March 23, April 13, April 27) and at the 24 Hours qualifying race (May 19).

The first Nissan will be entrusted to beginners Edoardo Liberati (7th in the 12 Bathurst 2019 Hours with KCMG) and Josh Burdon (10th in the same event, still with KCMG), who will be able to rely on the experience of Philipp Wlazik (2nd in the SP8 class at the 24 2017 Hours of Nürburgring). The composition of the second crew has not yet been revealed.

“Since I founded KCMG, trying new challenges has always been my goal, says Paul Ip, the team boss. The 24 Hours of Nürburgring will be a difficult and ambitious undertaking but as always, we are ready to push our limits. »
