The provisional entry list for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring revealed

Perhaps the most important meeting of the season for German manufacturers, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring 2018 (May 10-13) will once again be able to count on a first-rate entry list.

In addition to the four German brands Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Ferrari will also be represented in the SP9 category, aiming for overall victory.

The Audi clan will be able to trust Team Land, winner in 2017, but also its long-time allies Team WRT, Team Phoenix as well as Team BWT, all labeled Audi Sport. Black Falcon and HTP will be the spearheads of Mercedes-AMG, Tristan Vautier evolving for his part with Landgraf Motorsport.

ROWE Racing, winner in VLN2, will defend the colors of BMW with Walkenhorst Motorsport and Falken Motorsport, while Porsche, which has not won since 2011, will once again bet on the 911 GT3 R operated by Manthey Racing.

Kevin Estre will thus be associated with Romain Dumas, Earl Bamber and Laurens Vanthoor, when Frederic Makowiecki will evolve with patrick pilet, Nick Tandy and Richard Lietz. Weissach will also be able to count on the Falken Motorsport example of Klaus Bachler, Martin Ragginger, Sven Müller and Dirk Werner and the Team75 Bernhard car for André Lotterer, associated with Michael Christensen, Matteo Cairoli and Jörg Bergmeister.

For its big return to the event, Aston Martin commissioned its official GTE drivers to drive the No. 12 Vantage V3 GT7. Maxime Martin will make common cause with Nicki Thiim, Marco Sorensen and Darren Turner.

The grid will also be completed by a number of categories including GT4 and TCR.
