The main attraction will of course be the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup type 992. The latest from the German brand will make its debut in the Carrera Cup France in 2021. The one-make series has unveiled its calendar for next season, designed to avoid clashes with the Porsche Supercup.
After the traditional official pre-season testing session, which will take place this year at Magny-Cours (April 7 and 8), six meetings of two races each will follow one another, including two in France.
The season will open at the beginning of May at Magny-Cours (May 7 to 9) during the FFSA French Circuit Championship, before heading to the unmissable Paul Ricard (May 14 to 17).
As in 2020, the 911 GT3 Cup peloton will then return to the legendary Spa-Francorchamps track (from June 18 to 20).
The series will continue its tour of Europe in Monza (from July 9 to 11), as part of theELMS. The end of the season will finally see the Porsche Carrera Cup France make a stopover in Barcelona with the GT World Challenge Europe (October 8 to 10) then to Portugal (October 22 to 24) for the final in the ELMS paddock.
