Lamborghini joins Mercedes and Ferrari to compete in the global GT World Challenge

SRO Motorsports can count on the presence of Lamborghini Team Corse to play the overall ranking of the GT World Challenge, bringing together the results of the GT World Challenge Europe, Asia and America rounds.

The structure of Sant'Agata Bolognese thus joins Ferrari et Mercedes-AMG, already present in 2019, to aim for the title offered to manufacturers nominating four drivers per series who can score points. Remember that only the best car in each class (Pro, Pro-Am and Am) scores points, a score multiplied by the number of cars in the class to weigh everything.

Mercedes-AMG had dominated Ferrari throughout the season in 2019, but the arrival of Lamborghini, whose main effort remains Europe with notably FFF Racing Team or Emmil Frey Racing, will give more spice in the perspective of overall ranking.

The United States, with the VIR event (July 9-12), then Europe with Imola (July 25-26) and Asia (Sepang, September 12-13) will resume in that order.
