Lamera Cup. Team Lamera doubles the stakes in Misano

Arrived at Misano at the top of the championship, Team Lamera (P.Couasnon, C.Bouchut, Mattéo and Wilfried Merafina) will not only keep the mildness of spring as a good memory of the Adriatic coast. Already victorious yesterday during the 4 hour race, the Lamera #62 wins once again. Like Saturday, the quartet which saw Christophe Bouchut play luxury freelancers, started from second place on the grid. Behind Continental Racing (Fargier, Maire, Coué), untouchable at Misano in the qualifying exercise. The battle between the two cars was intense, until each of the two protagonists suffered various setbacks: broken universal joints for Continental Racing and several penalties for non-compliance with track limits for several crews including Team Lamera.

In the end, the latter fared better since he won the event when Continental Racing finished in third position, behind the ETC Racing 1 trio (Parsa, Dufour, Demigneux). Starting 5th, the trio of Lamera #421, 2021 vice-champion, managed to make their way to the podium. Despite, here too, some time-consuming penalties. We will salute the rise of the Alma Racing Tremblaye crew (Loeul, Rouxel, Tremblaye). The #65 Lamera was scheduled to start from 12th place on the grid. A turbo hose problem forced the car to start from the pits. The crew finally ranked 11th.

In the Pro-Am category, the Race Track Rolinger TEC team (Rollinger, Dumont, Delpit, Bruckner) also won a second consecutive category victory in Misano coupled with a very good 5th place overall. Among the Gentlemans, the Lamera Triangle Monaco (Miellou, Loustalet, Chauchoy, Lechine) finished on the highest step of the podium.
