The 24 Hours of the Nürburgring starts again

The night passed, the rain stopped falling. The 24 Hours of the Nürburgring can therefore restart for 7:30 hours of racing, starting at 8 a.m., after a red flag which was displayed at 22:30 p.m. last night.

Like the 2019 race, Audi comes out in the lead after the first twists and turns. The official car number 1 of Dirk Müller, Dries Vanthoor, Frédéric Vervisch and Franck Stippler leads while the number 29 of Mattia Drudi, Christopher Mies, René Rast and Kelvin van der Linde is second.

They took command after the exit of Raffaele Marciello in the Mercedes GetSpeed. Thanks to the interruption, she will be able to leave again but very far away. The #3 Audi of Mirko Bortolotti, Christopher Haase, Robin Frijns and Markus Winkelhock completed the podium.

The Porsche and the BMWs are a little further away but still in the game. The Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini eliminated at the start of the race is inevitably a German car which will win this year, once again.

The complete ranking at the time of the restart.
