The Ten Thousand Towers of Castellet are looming

This is the Classic event this fall in France. The Dix Mille Tours of Castellet (Var), organized by Peter Auto, returns from August 31 to September 2 for a ninth edition with two new grids: the 2.0L Cup, reserved for Porsche 911 à moteur 2 litres et châssis court construites jusqu’en 1966 ainsi que le Global enviroment Endurance Legends in demonstration, dedicated to the GT1 and prototypes which marked the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1990s and 2000s.

There will be something for everyone, between Le Mans-type vehicles and single-seaters. THE group C will be one of the highlights of this weekend with two races composed of prototypes from 1982 to 1993. The spirit of the Le Mans classic will be reinforced by the presence of several former glories of Sarthe: Emanuele Pirro and Derek Bell (five victories) as well as Gerard Larrousse (two victories).

Extremely supplied (80 competitors!) the Classic Endurance Racing grid will be divided into two separate grids for GTs and prototypes created between 1966 and 1981. Among the other categories, sports and touring cars will be entitled to three grids with the Heritage Touring Cup. 1966 to 1984), the Sixties' Endurance (pre-1963 sport and pre-1966 GT) and The Greatest's Trophy (reserved for exceptional GTs).

Single-seater fans will enjoy the trophy Euro F2 Classic, which as its name suggests, will include Formula 2, but also Formula B and Atlantic from 1967 to 1978.
Entrance will be free for children under 16 years old as well as for adults, at least for General Admission. You will have to pay 10 euros to be able to walk around the Var paddocks thanks to pre-sale on the Internet, and 15 euros on site.
