Blancpain GT Series rosters revealed
It is at the end of the first day of testing for the Blancpain GT Series at Paul-Ricard (Var) that SRO, the organizer of the discipline, revealed the list for the 2017 season with the series Endurance and Sprint.
30 crews representing 11 manufacturers will compete for the Blancpain GT Series title. The Sprint Cup category will have 34 cars entered, including 24 in the Pro category, for all events. 57 cars will be lined up for the Endurance Cup season, including 33 in the highest category.
“If the starting grids of the last season were already impressive, we are very happy to see that the 2017 Blancpain GT Series season will once again be a reference in GT, declared Stéphane Ratel, the founder and director of SRO Motorsports Group. We have reason to be optimistic seeing the number of new teams signing up the best GT drivers. »
