MG Choi crowned in GT World Challenge Asia

Without even getting on the podium in the two races of the Chinese final in Shanghai in Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia, MG Choi will have scored enough points to secure the Drivers' title in the series promoted by SRO Motorsports.

The pilot of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°97 – Solite Indigo Racing, épaulé par l’Allemand Manuel Metzger n’a pas joué les premiers rôles sur cette finale, dominée en course 1 par l’Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo n°12 – Audi Sport Asia Team Absolute Racing de Martin Rump et Weiron Tan et en course 2 par la Porsche 911 GT3 R n°912 – Absolute Racing de Yuan Bo et Leo Ye Hongli.

The victory of the latter allows Absolute Racing, which we will find in Macau on behalf of Porsche Motorsport next November, to win the Teams title at the end of this last round.

Sunako Jukuchou took the title in the GT4 category, at the wheel of the No. 4 BMW M4 GT82 – BMW Team Studie after his seventh victory of the season in race 2. Ringo Chong and Setiawan Santoso had allowed Team iRace to win to be crowned among the Teams at the end of race 1 with their success obtained with their Mercedes-AMG GT4.
