Nascar – Denny Hamlin brings Joe Gibbs Racing back to the top at Loudon

Considered one of the major forces of the first division of Nascar Cup Series, the team Joe gibbs racing had still not managed to find the way to Victory Lane this year. A gap filled yesterday by the success of Denny Hamlin on the Loudon oval in New Hampshire.

The weekend had also started badly for the driver of the Toyota Camry No. 11, made a mistake in testing and was forced to use its reserve car for the race. Not enough to prevent him from interfering in the fight for victory by preceding on the finish line Kyle Larson (Chip Ganassi Racing – Chevrolet), best time in qualifying, but downgraded for technical non-compliance and Martin Truex Jr (Furniture Row Racing – Toyota), passed very close to the correctional facility following a puncture during the event.

Truex Jr also remains the driver to have led the greatest number of laps last night with 137 laps passed in the lead out of the 301 on the program. The top 5 is completed by Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) and the first Ford Fusion of Kevin Harvick (Stewart-Haas Racing).

Daniel Suarez (Joe Gibbs Racing), Clint Bowyer (Stewart-Haas Racing), Kurt Busch (Stewart-Haas Racing), Brad Keselowski (Team Penske – Ford) and Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motosports – Chevrolet) enter the top 10.
