NASCAR Euro Whelen – Work completed in Tours

The Tours circuit, in Indre et Loire, finally has its two new turns. The 10,5° banking of turns 1 and 2 of the oval which will host the NASCAR Euro Whelen in July is ready after several weeks of work. We now find a typical NASCAR circuit, explains Jérôme Galpin, President of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series after the first tests. It's totally unique in Europe and I'm sure that our teams and drivers will offer us an unforgettable spectacle from our first races here. This is the event not to be missed for all fans, an incredible experience to enjoy as a family... I can't wait to see the green flag.

The Tours route had already undergone a previous modification on turns 3 and 4, raising the banking to 9°, like the most famous oval in the world, that of Indianapolis. The circuit now has a development of 650 m. The American Tours Festival, featuring the two Elite 1 races and the two Elite 2 races of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, will take place on July 5 and 6.
