Dale Earnhardt Jr speaks out after plane crash

Victim of a plane crash in Tennessee at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport with his wife Amy and their daughter Isla Rose, Dale Earnhardt Jr spoke publicly in recent hours in the form of a press release issued by the Nascar.

The Earnhardt Jr family did not suffer serious injuries in the incident during the violent landing which led to an excursion from the runway.

“Amy and I want to thank everyone who has called, texted and prayed since last Thursday, is it mentioned in the family press release. We are really happy that everyone on board escaped without serious injuries, including our daughter, our two pilots and our dog Gus.

Regarding the investigation, we will not speculate or discuss the cause of the accident. I am grateful for the responsiveness of my pilots, local law enforcement, emergency services personnel and hospital staff.

Finally, Amy and I continue to be very grateful for the confidentiality we were given in handling the situation. It was important to do it together and at our own pace. »
