Denny Hamlin is Mr. 50%

What if it was Denny Hamlin's season? Number 11 won its second consecutive race at Michigan, the fifth in ten meetings. On this ring, he led for 123 laps, had a lead of up to ten seconds and had no trouble fending off a final assault from Kasey Kahne twenty laps from the finish.

“Now I know how Jimmie (Jonhson) felt for four seasons,” joked the new star upon arrival.

Despite this extraordinary series, Hamlin? who has “only” 7 top 10s in 15 races? remains behind Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch in the general classification.
