Edwards extends with Roush Fenway

Roush Fenway Racing did not wait until the end of the season to extend the contract of its driver Carl Edwards. The driver of the No. 99 Ford currently leads the Sprint Cup Series with an eleven-point lead over Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports), the reigning champion of the discipline. The current leader has already won one victory this season by signing ten top 5 finishes.
