Kurt Busch will continue to defend the interests of Chip Ganassi Racing for several years. At 41, the 2004 champion extended his contract for several years after signing a victory at Kentucky, 6 Top 5s and 17 Top 10s in his first season with the team, regularly surpassing his teammate Kyle Larson.
"Chip made me an offer I couldn't refuse, confided Kurt Busch. I feel like I still have more to do, that I still have other victories to achieve like the Southern 500 (in Darlington, South Carolina). »
Kurt Busch has 31 victories in Nascar Cup Series including a success at Daytona 500 in 2017. His career began in 2000 with Roush Racing before joining Penske, Phoenix Racing, Furniture Row Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing. This weekend in Texas, he will make his 682nd start in the flagship Nascar championship.
